Today, we introduce you to Janelle Poder, Customer Service Supervisor. Janelle has been with us for 18 years, and is a staple on our employee of the month nomination list. Let's find out a bit more about Janelle:
What is your favorite part about working for Chex?
The Chex comradery is my favorite part of working at Chex. Our motto is “One Team One Dream”, and everyone is here to help each other succeed.
What is your favorite product Chex carries?
My favorite is Haribo gummy candies. We carry so many varieties and they are the perfect pick- me-up while I’m working.
What’s one professional achievement you’re most proud of?
During my time at Chex I have received Chex Values awards and many employee of the month nominations from my peers. I enjoy being recognized for my efforts and that my team appreciates the work I do.
How do you like to start your workday?
I like to start my day checking my email and getting myself organized. Since I arrive to the office earlier than most, this lets me prioritize anything urgent that may have come up over the weekend.
What’s one of the biggest lessons you’ve learned while working at Chex?
One of the biggest lessons I have learned at Chex is “See something, say something”. I’m able to speak up at any time and will always be supported when I do so.
