Gaea in the New York Times

We are excited and honored to inform you that Gaea North America’s launch was announced yesterday’s print issue of The New York Times (circulation: 2,022,850) in the “Front Burner” column of the Food section.  Author & Food Critic, Florence Fabricant highlighted Gaea Fresh, Kalamata, Sitia & Sparta Oils under the headline, “To Drizzle: An Olive Oil for Every Occasion.”  Fabricant described Gaea oils as, “distinctive and reasonably priced” and touched upon the differentiating factors of each of the four varieties. A prominent image of all four Gaea bottles was also included.

Gaea North America has worked hard in the last 90 days to gain significant retail placement of the oils to ensure this amazing press wouldn’t be wasted. The New York Times expressed interest in exclusively announcing Gaea’s entry into the marketplace, but with the caveat that consumers could find the oils on New York Metro store shelves.

Below please find screen shots of the press, as well as a link to The New York Times Online to view the online edition.

Get Unreal Q&A

UNREAL is the unjunked food company founded by two teenage brothers on a mission to unjunk the world.

What does “unjunked™” mean?

UNREAL™ is starting with candy, because it’s the worst offender when it comes to “junk” – corn syrup, hydrogenated fats, GMOs, artificial colors, flavors and preservatives. To “unjunk” means to replace all these ingredients with real cane sugar, real milk, more peanuts, and twice the cacao.

What makes UNREAL™ products unique?

Our candies contain no artificial flavors, preservatives or hormones; no GMO’s (genetically modified organisms); no hydrogenated oils; and no corn syrup. Instead, we use real sugar, natural oils, and real milk.

Does UNREAL™ use any corn syrup?

Nope. In fact, our candies are 100% corn-free. No corn syrup, no corn oil, no corn in anything we make.

What’s UNREAL™ candy look like?

Like candy. Since the colors are vegetable based not synthetic, they are different from your typical technicolor candies, but still bright and appealing.
